Providing in-home parent coaching to pregnant moms and families of young children

Purpose

Home visitors support parents through visits in families’ homes. Family participation is entirely voluntary, and visitors spend time with parents, infants, young children, and their families, working toward family-identified goals and increasing knowledge about child safety and development.

  • Link families with resources for child care and other support, as needed.

Goals

  • Support positive health for newborns and mothers.
