Child Abuse Prevention Month

Your_TurnApril is Child Abuse Prevention Month!

It is time to remind ourselves of our individual and community obligation to prevent child abuse and neglect. Prevention requires a community effort, and everyone can do something. The national symbol, the pinwheel, stands for hope, health and happiness - what we desire for all children.

We'd love to see pinwheels scattered across North Dakota, as well as communities spreading the message of prevention. We provide community coalitions with grant funding opportunities to provide CAP Month activities in their area.  Please check back in October of each year to download the forms for the upcoming CAP Month.
